Suspend the trainer. Send a note to all teams that trainers are not to handle the balls at any time (as if that should be needed). I think the NRL needs to consider the role of trainers during games. As others are pointing out there’s a fair bit of coaching happening across teams, why is it a thing? Didn’t they try to change it in the past?

No, no. Much better to continue to chase the sugar hit rather than plan things for the longer term (even if it’s a 3 year plan!)

Quick question. What happened to the news on the 3rd tier front? Club championship or what have you?

They’ll be sharing the same home ground, might as well share some of the same facilities. It’s a reasonable financial decision to take. I tend to think that the Raiders and Brumbies should also be looking at a bit of sharing of facilities etc…Heck the Rebels and Storm probably should have been as well…
Share Bears: V’landys floats bizarre player swap proposal with Force which contravenes the NRL’s own rules
I think he is smart for it. I live in Tasmania and a huge percentage of people don’t realise that there are two codes of rugby. It’s just rugby. The Wallabies ironically have a bit of cut through as do the Storm, but most would assume that they’re somehow related.

In fairness there was a fair few rabbits there in 1908…

I never reveal which League team I follow. Purely from the perspective that I can be an absolute pessimist against everything.
I think it’s quite reasonable to question a few aspects of this. The decision to not start it as a brand new club with it’s own identity and the claim that there are more than 200,000 members for the Bears are all reasonable questions. They don’t/won’t amount to anything

I’d hazard a guess and say that the number of actual members is somewhere in the vicinity of 10% of that number

The West Australian has it and I note they made the mistake of not distinguishing it from Union.

I was under the understanding that a lot of the heritage had been lost over time anyway as even the NSL had moved away from the traditional/cultural based football clubs?

I mean that’s 4x the amount of members that the Broncos have. It’s double the amount of memberships that Collingwood have!

Absolutely, I played a couple of seasons with them at the same time Adam was there. Car parts on a scrum machine is normally a pretty good indicator that it’s not a club flushed with cash 😂

I thought the only way to tackle Brown in that instance was a shoulder charge.
