But it’s been 4 months since Guot Guot and his dad made it clear that A – Gout Gout was a spelling mistake and B- they don’t like the connection to the disease.
“His name is Guot, it’s supposed to be Guot,” his father Bona told 7NEWS. “When I see people called him Gout Gout, I’m not really happy for him……..II know that Gout Gout is a disease name but I don’t want my son to be called a disease name … it’s something that’s not acceptable,” Bona said.

Given the injuries you’d love to see Ange given 1 more year and a chance for his long term plan to build into something successful, but this is the premier league and I wouldn’t bet much on him being in charge next season. A Europe League win might be enough to give him that chance but I doubt it.

If that’s what you think power rankings are there’s no point reading them each week. I see them as which club you’d least like to face next week, which makes more sense for a weekly ranking report.
I’d least like to face the Storm at the moment and I don’t think anyone expects the Bulldogs to be minor premiers including Paul Suttor, despite him putting us at #1 for now.

I like the idea of every team playing each other once, then based on the ladder a new draw is made. Scottish soccer does something similar, after 33 games the top six then play each other and the bottom 6 play each other. Ends up 38 games like this EPL. Though it makes more sense with European qualification and relegation battles going on.
For the NRL it could at least mean better TV scheduling and therefore more viewers which would make the broadcasters happy.

Panthers in 6th? Which year of footy are you watching? Warriors rabbits and Raiders all deserve to be higher and even the Knights defence with half a bench showed Penrith what they’re lacking from last season.
I’m also surprised to have Bulldogs first. We’ve had a relatively easy draw and while our defence is solid our attack is still pretty mediocre. Storm look lightyears ahead

Consistency indeed. Late in the game yesterday Adam Elliott connected with his shoulder to the head of a Bulldogs player with more force than most of the sinbins we saw…I love Elliott, he was great for us for years, but I was thinking at the time…ooh, this might even be a send off. But no, not even a sin bin.
Had me scratching my head and if the game had been super tight at that point I’d have been fuming.

Sexton’s kicking game isn’t his biggest concern, I’m more worried about his complete and utter lack of creativity in attack. Especially when we were 6 down with 5 to go and he grubbers on the 4th tackle instead of setting up for a field goal. The kind of amateur game management is expect in lower grades.
