I met Dutchy quite a few times. He was a really lovely bloke. Humble as anything. Didn’t mention cricket unless someone brought it up then he was very embarrassed when his Test career was brought up. He just spoke about how special it was to him and he just enjoyed every moment.

Well said. Choppy has gotta be up there for all time lairs (if I do say so himself). Others who I reckon were lairs inclide Jarryd Hayne “Plane”, Mick Ennis, Blake Ferguson, Todd Carney and pretty much anyone named Joey (including one BJ Leilua)
Nathan Blacklock had his backflips but I don’t reckon he was a lair.

Spot on Nudge. Hated him at times but damn he could play. There were times he played against our best quicks here and we felt we had him and he’d flick them through midwicket or drive them through cover like they were grade bowlers. Just a champion.
