Same thinking here Aiden!
Hopefully Jo gets them purring!
Wallabies bombshell as Kiss to replace Schmidt in 2026 as part of 25-year first
Sounds like the last man standing !!!
Good to see Asiata doing well!
Feassler is a worry!
I hope he can recover and keep his fitness for the Lions.
Reds' Super Rugby title hopes dealt blow after Wallaby's injury revealed as Kiss hints at changes for Drua clash
I noticed Nongor too!
He looked a lot more brutal/aggressive in his actions. Great to see!
Reds' stoic defence rattles Blues as Kiss' men get season back on track on the back of Lynagh double
@Brendn.
Well I think it’s wing or bust at this stage, and she hasn’t out performed anyone in the 15’s SuperW because she hasn’t played a 15’s match yet.
I don’t know if you watch much women’s 7’s but she’s the best winger there’s been in years and a once in a generation kind of player in my opinion.
Whether that converts to 15’s is yet to be seen, but injuries do happen and Maddi coming on with 30 to go in a big game would excite me !
Stewart and Desiree Miller deserve the first picks but then 3rd for me would be Maddi.
'Set up to fail': Levi's World Cup bid in peril as agent slams Rugby Australia for 'unfair' Wallaroos selection process
He had played years of rugby though in his school days. Maddi is star just like Joseph so I reckon she’s worth the gamble and publicity!

That is true! Usually it’s easier for a backs player to play 7’s through their 15’s experience and unusual to do it the other way round. You do have to be super fit though

It’s the same code though! Just less numbers and different size bodies.
Maddi would be in the squad if I was picking.

31 is not old
'Defended like demons': Waratahs STUN Chiefs in epic Super Rugby upset as Suaalii, Kellaway star
@TDN I was thinking the Daugunu to wing and Suaalii to 13 and Wright at 15 too
No Taniela, skipper benched and JAS at 15: Ex-Test star's 'exciting' form Wallabies XV to take on the Lions
@Kiwiniel who would you change?
No Taniela, skipper benched and JAS at 15: Ex-Test star's 'exciting' form Wallabies XV to take on the Lions
Wow! I like it, but I’d still swap Uru and Wilson around.
Also, JAS not sure about his kicking game at the back.
I also like the Ikitau-Daugunu combo .
I’d almost have Lynagh for his solid play, but more so his boot alone to get us down field and in good positions.
It’s getting exciting!

We don’t want to do an Eddie and blood new guys for the biggest tournament of the year/years!
Stick with the proven Test performers unless someone is knocking down the door like a Tizano or a Daungunu ( probably proven test performer anyway) is at the moment.
Now is not the time to make wholesale changes to the 23.
Do that after the Lions series if warranted.
Five left-field Wallabies selections Joe Schmidt could turn to with the Lions series on the line
Does that make it 3 Harry Potters now ?

Great post Jez.
It looks like we have some good depth when you look at ALL the players available.
I can’t help but think Kerevi, Koriobete and Skelton should be there in the mix for a starting or bench spot at least. Daungunu should be starting as you said. I think you missed Kellaway in your list, but I’d have him in the 23 somewhere as well.

Yep, I agree with all of the above. And no one is replacing Sausao, that’s for sure! I really hope she can get to the World Cup somehow but the Broncos deal will probably rule that out.
I hope we see her back in rugby and she’d even be great to see on the 7’s circuit.
And on Madi, she would get bums on seats and more viewers wouldn’t she for the final? But it’s not a guarantee it’ll work either as she’s not the best in going into contact and there’d be less space for her.
Hopefully the Reds start like they did last week!
Go you good things!
Reds' 'Baby Rhino' batters Drua, Tahs suffer injury concerns ahead of Super Rugby W grand final
Cheers for the wrap up Hugh.
Hopefully those with injuries can recover for the Final, no more than the captain for the Reds Bemrose, she’s got an engine and a half on her and leads the way.
It would be harsh on the current members to miss out, but any word on any of the 7’s girls coming back for the final?
You’d love to have Madi Levi on the bench and coming on when the players get a bit tired and frees up space for her to canter.

I’m a Reds /Mcreight fan, but geez Tizano has upped his game and might be ahead for the Wallabies 7 spot.
Two great guys to have in the 23 though.
Tizzano, Potter star during Force's vital come-from-behind win over Highlanders
As a Reds fan, I thought Mcreight looked a bit tentative and underdone today after being out for a few weeks. It looked like he wasn’t defending as ruggedly as usual, which is to be expected after shoulder injuries. Just ask his mate Liam Wright.
The Reds could have won that one, just a few big errors close to their try line.
Was a fun watch in shite conditions.
'I'll wear that as captain': Reds rue missed chances as Chiefs storm home to move atop Super Rugby standings
Fesler , BPA then Polard for me.
More hookers than Kings Cross: Brumby is fourth rake to score RA top up - while three others also have Wallabies No.2 claims
Fesler has been pretty solid I reckon! No?

Faesler, BPA, Pollard and Lonergan seem to make sense.
One more out of the other 3 perhaps going on Super form.
And that would be Dolly at the moment I reckon. Nasser needs more bulk and a year or 2 more experience

Good on old mate!
I hope he succeeds in achieving his dreams , then makes his way back to rugby in his late 20’s. Win Win!

Is that Hugh? I couldn’t see any major injuries come up on his Wikipedia
Actually, I searched a bit further and he did have some shoulder and neck issues.
I hope Wright can get back and soldier on.
Reds winning, but look like a rugby league team: Kiss will never reach the top until he learns beauty of penalties
Go ladies!
Looks a good team!
