The Brumbies’ hopes of making it two in a row have received a boost, with Test playmaker Noah Lolesio returning to take on the Drua for Friday night’s clash in Canberra (7.35pm AEDT). Join The Roar for live scores and updates.

The No.10 hasn’t been sighted for the Brumbies since copping a concussion against the Drua in their win in Fiji in the opening round of this year’s competition, but Stephen Larkham hasn’t hesitated in starting the Wallaby for their important clash.

Lolesio replaces rising playmaker Declan Meredith, who drops back to the bench, amid one of three changes to the starting side.

He joins Ryan Lonergan in the halves, with Harrison Goddard also moved back to the bench.

The only other change sees Billy Pollard start at hooker, with Lachie Lonergan to come off the bench after starting last week during the Brumbies’ drought-breaking win over the Blues at Eden Park.

Larkham has otherwise selected a similar looking side, with Rory Scott once again wearing the No.7 jersey and breakdown specialist Luke Reimer to come off the bench.

The decision is likely to do with the physicality needed from the outset to deal with the powerful Fijians.

Fijian Drua centre Iosefo Masi and second rower Vilive Miramira are returning from injury for the Drua.

Coach Glen Jackson has rotated the squad from last week, reshuffling the backrow and the midfield and opting for a 6–2 split on the bench.
