its nauseating the amount of infringements – clear as daylight infringements – that wee see on telly – which are ignored or not seen by the ref.
things that happen at speed one can excuse – but there are literally 100s every game being just dismissed by the refs.
also still trying to understand the role of TMO in SH rugger as opposed to NH!
dont they all work under one set of rules and protocols?
or is there two sets that have vast differences.
for eg – in Gallagher the TMO is always in the refs ear helping him – lets say 90% of the time with things like 50/20 , offside , foul play , or even correcting the position a penalty shud be given.
none of these things seem to be there in super rugger.

it seems – in order to speed up the game – everyone including TMO is under pressure – to let go a lot of things – including foulpalys.
in Gallagher – there was a match between Saracens and another team – where a try was scored off a clear offside play.
it was accidental but – there is no Law that says accidental offside shud be ignored for sake of playing on !!
when the opposite captain complained – it was brushed off by the ref.
in south and norrth – a lot is being ignored for a fast paced high scoring game – but watching on telly and seeing some of the things let go – as per limited knowledge of laws – its a bit disappointing.

there was a clear jump over the ruck by a reds player – maybe like 15-20 minutes in the game – in a try scoring attempt.
that is a clear penalty – no second thoughts.
he was just 3 meters from the action and did not see – or chose to ignore.
how can anyone not see a superman dive over a pile of bodies.

not sure both Smiths Finn and Marcus will be in the equation – like for England.
there are others who can be at 10 specifically – like Pendergras or Frawly – who are well liked by current Ireland Coach 🙂
also as the backs replacement – there are more versatile than Marcus – like Elliot Daly or Hugo Keenan – again liked by Ireland coach !!
Marcus is what they call rocks n diamonds – most of the time – and needs lot of cover under midfield bombs!!

hence it looked like a 50-22!
however the ref said as the ball went out in full its Brums ball to throw in!!
now is that part written in the Laws about 50-22 ??

after a warning each to both teams – the chiiefs 10 was penalized for off side play on the 5m line – off that penalty only crusaders scored. that shud have been a card if gardener was true to his threat 😂 😂 😂
its obvios u have not seen the pace of Gallagher URC and top 14 😂 😂 😂 its the south refs who are struggling to keep pace in the 6 nations 😛 😛 😛

crusaders have no tall timber – been saying it since sam w left – or even while he was there
other teams have got some tall 2nd rowers – over 6′ 8″
also there is none now like Read who can jump on his own and disrupt from the very front or back – which forces opponents to throw at the middle – where the taller guys can target.
watch ireland and england lineouts – they use a tall 3rd rower to jump at front or back – making throw to middle the most obvios choice.

a more apt comparison is the card given to argie against irelnad – and a lot of play actung by irish 10 that was criticised by many.
there needs to be more clarity and consistency on these calls – else some guys will look like scum – while the scum will look like pure as driven snow.
