Hurricanes coach Clark Laidlaw has kept Ruben Love at fullback instead of a mooted switch to No.10 as he made just one change to his 23 from the loss to the Blues to face the Crusaders on Friday (5.05pm AEST).

Hooker Raymond Tuputupu comes onto on the bench in place of Jacob Devery. Centre Peter Umaga-Jensen and reserve prop Pouri Rakete-Stones will their 50th Hurricanes match.

The Crusaders welcome back three All Blacks into the starting lineup in David Havili, Scott Barrett and Tamaiti Williams for the first of four straight derbies.

Havili has been suffering an Achilles niggle while Barrett, whose form has been questioned in recent weeks, and Williams were rested against the Drua.

Sevu Reece moves to the left wing after starting at centre in Suva, while halfback Kyle Preston will miss a third consecutive game with a rib injury.

Fullback Will Jordan is picked again after having his rest week pushed back.

Centre Dallas McLeod misses out with a quad injury.
