What nonsense is this headline. The fans pulled Hinkley into line and he started coaching way better as evidenced by the results. I would certainly dump him. Having ten years with the best players and zero flags. Mark Williams would have won at least two more with the great teams they’ve had. He is way, way overdue. Who else would take him? The best mark I saw was Nicki Winmar for South Fremantle WA (first game) where he got his feet on the shoulders of his opponent and went up another level. Warren Ralph did similar but he had great delivery from the Kraker brothers at Claremont, WA. There are many more but just seeing them as they happen is great. The slow motion replays of course add to the spectacle.

To me Shaun Johnson is the best player I have seen on a rugby league field. Unfortunately he had the full repotoire of being fantastic one minute, totally hopeless the next. But still a game I saw him play once I think vs Oz in a World Cup final or semi final in England was the best of any player ever. He seemed untouchable.

Its great to get the win but the main thing is we can be competitive with the best teams apart from SA currently. But we have a long way to go obviously. If we can beat Argentina again that would be epic. They were expected to win so will be fully charged up for revenge. If we win the Argies will be bagging their players and coach as we see so often here when the Wallabies lose. But in terms of confidence it would be huge with the ABs coming up.

Its much better to rate batsman you like watching bat. Damian Martyn was great from an Australian viewpoint as it was all effortless using his wrists as the great Indian bats do so well.
