Joseph Suallii played Rugby..Went to league adjusted played rep footy came back and not completely up to date with Game but safe to say proficient in both.If they are school boy rugby players and go to league they can come back and perform I have no doubt that’s all I’m saying.

He is Trump like in that he has big plans and cares little for protocol or past agreements.But those types end one way.But he just might be silly enough to help rugby ( unknowingly) before he implodes.

Sevens rugby is more like league than 15 rugby..that’s why they are converting that way than being a stepping stone into the full format which was hoped for..Rugby missed an opportunity with the Woman’s game to incorporate league players as I recall a while back there was a cry out for more money more games.They could have been proactive and said to the woman of both codes there’s enough content on both codes combined to get you that exposure game time and larger contracts.. Nobody goes on about remerging of the two codes more than me where practical..AFL is the common enemy not each other ,kids growing up should be encouraged to play both codes and later in life allowed to move more freely between the two codes( in Australia) couldn’t care less about other countries ,too see us being beaten but kiwis and Saffas when I know the best players in the world are in this country hurts.

Seems like carrying injury to me..has levelled out for sure but heavily strapped up and week in week out super may have stalled his push.

Just seems strange we don’t mix and match our woman’s teams..they don’t have a full season on either code it would be a way for the top echelon too earn alot more..I disagree on transition I think woman would be alit more flexible on moving between the two codes at a notice.

Yeah it would be tricky to enforce on lesser grade football as ref would need someone policing that in his ear..must be something that can stop the line butting part of the game..it normally ends in cards which ruin a game and wasted minutes of Rugby.

If Vlandys is interested in working with rugby perhaps the woman’s game would be a good start,we could really do with done of those exciting woman’s league players that were in show last Thurs nite..

Perhaps rule change Short blind,only X amount of attempts before ball must be passed 2 times before attempting same pick and go near line..all within two metres.Five attempts in red zone before ball must be passed at least twice..it does become a bit boring to watch and predictable.
