My vote for a DOF for WSW goes to Harry Kewell as he comes from the area. Craig Moore would also be a good choice based on his humble upbringing only a few hundred metres from where WSW is setup right now.

The A-League Men finals are off to a flyer - but can anyone stop Auckland?

So basically you’re saying that WSW should hire a Director of Football and keep the suits out of the football decisions?

Diles refused to shake Stajic’s hand after the last match at Parramatta so Stajic reminded him that he’s a better person for it.

Arzani inspires Victory to big finals win in milestone match as Wanderers' season comes to an end

Negatives – WSW threw the game away.
Positives – The bare minimum is finals is every season and it feels like that’ll happen from now on. Wouldn’t mind an investigation into how badly WSW have fumbled foreign signings since the departure of Shinji Ono, you can pin lack of success on this one thing.

Questions need to be asked how a team so good ended up like this.
Will questions be asked though…

A-League Tipping: Elimination Finals - Accidental Adelaide with chance to stun Western

The engagement between the club and fans is getting back to where it was.
The previous CEO was to blame there, did nothing to support fans when it mattered and sided with FA/FFA on too many occasions.
This is what people are coming back for, results are good but that’s not the real reason for crowd increases, Western Sydney is a little different there.

A-League Tipping: Round 29 - Adelaide, Sydney biting fingernails as three sides grapple for second

I made the call.

A-League Tipping: Round 29 - Adelaide, Sydney biting fingernails as three sides grapple for second

I have nothing against Auckland, just that one fan incident a few weeks ago.
If WSW are going to win then it has to be against a team that deserves a humiliation, like Roar. But the chances of them making finals ever again are too remote for that to ever be a possibility. WSW vs Victory would be insane.

A-League Tipping: Round 29 - Adelaide, Sydney biting fingernails as three sides grapple for second

As I said before and something I seem to have to repeat every week.
It has nothing to do with results, people are starting to feel like the club is the same one they signed up to in 2012.
Les Murray even said it ‘this will largely be a club for the already converted’ and people will have to be treated like fans not customers.
They lost their way for a while but things are slowly heading back in the right direction, back to when Parramatta Westfield had a countdown clock until the next home match.

Is Brisbane in administration yet?
Can’t be long left for this basket case of a club, fighting it out with Glory for the spoon every season.

Why should we assist their existence by calling it a rivalry though, it’s not.

A-League Tipping: Round 29 - Adelaide, Sydney biting fingernails as three sides grapple for second

Apologies, I meant it’s normally about 3km travel for me to get to Leumeah.
My point being there are more WSW fans in Campbelltown/Camden than Bulls fans.

A-League Tipping: Round 29 - Adelaide, Sydney biting fingernails as three sides grapple for second

I’m not happy, WSW haven’t won anything yet.
Already seeing Auckland hold 1 of the 3 trophies is a fail.
Also not sure what numbers WSW are counting, there’ll be 5-7k WSW fans there this match.

‘Travelled kilometres’. All 3 of them down Badgally Road.

Sorry for taking the weight of being the home of football in Australia.

Alen Stajcic deserves plaudits after being proven right in ugly 'disrespect' clash with Juan Mata's man

2.2 million people live in Western Sydney and we don’t care about them either.

Auckland FC are premiers - but is that a good thing for the A-League?

If WSW can get back into Asia (where we belong) then that’ll open the door to him potentially getting one last pay day after his time at WSW and that’s fine.

A lot of GWS Giants members only hold a membership as they are already members of other clubs and want early access to grand final tickets

Auckland FC are premiers - but is that a good thing for the A-League?

Rubbish, it has nothing to do with current form.
People who were disenfranchised are seeing signs the club is the one they bought into a decade ago.
You know how I can prove that?
Have a look at the jersey Panta was wearing in the celebrations after defeating WU.
To speed things up – it was a season 1 away jersey someone in the RBB handed to him.

A-League Tipping: Round 28 - Finals shake-up on the cards, season ends for at least one team

For the good of the Socceroos yeah definitely.
I want Milanovic to stay exactly where he is though, club over country at this point.
Segecic is up to something, if it was another A League club we’d likely know about it so i’d say he’s heading overseas. Portsmouth aren’t dumb he’d be all over their radar right now let alone the other regular recruiters in that part of the world.

The APL keeps forgetting the key group their decisions impact

Someone is going to be paying him a lot of money next season, who that is remains a secret to all but Adrian from the looks of it.

The APL keeps forgetting the key group their decisions impact

Absolutely furious as a WSW fan, obviously i’m biased but Antonssen (sp?) was onside. Add that to the awful decisions by a ref who clearly has it in for WSW.
Same ref that led Rudan to make his infamous ‘stigma’ comment last season.

A-League tipping: Round 27 - WSW eye second, can Victory spoil Auckland party?

Even with Leckie out?

A-League tipping: Round 27 - WSW eye second, can Victory spoil Auckland party?

I thought he played fantastic against Perth, he was causing all sorts of dramas for them.
Can’t see him ending up at either of those clubs, he’s more likely to go to a team like WU – that’s even if he wants to leave, a player like him should stay right where he is.
