Nine and Stan Sport have secured the rights to show the next three Rugby World Cup tournaments.
A deal announced on Monday via the company’s media sites will see the Nine and Stan locked in for this year’s women’s World Cup plus the men’s and women’s events in Australia in 2027 and 2029.
The deal further includes the world Under 20 championship, the Pacific Nations Cup, WXV tournaments and the world sevens series.
Nine and Stan will also broadcast this year’s British and Irish Lions tour of Australia, with three Tests among nine games across June-August and the comes a month after they signed a new five year agreement with Rugby Australia for Super Rugby Pacific matches and Wallabies and Wallaroos Tests.
