Fair question Mick – the only thing I’d say is that the game played away from Adelaide in Gather Round is a good 90 odd minutes from the city where all the buzz and atmosphere is. It makes it difficult to catch more than one game on a day (some games overlapped as well). It’s easier with the game in Norwood because that’s not far from ground zero.
A couple of friends of mine who headed over from Perth to watch the Eagles didn’t feel like it was a ‘full’ experience having to try to rush back to Adelaide to see the night game and that might be even tougher in Queensland with the distances involved (and the traffic b/w Robina and Brisbane).
