Anyone can contribute to The Roar and have their work featured alongside some of Australia’s most prominent sports journalists.

The Roar is Australia’s leading sports opinion website, combining expert columnists with edited fan-written sports articles and videos.

We focus on sports opinion and engaging conversation amongst our passionate community of readers. Each month, The Roar publishes around 600 fan articles and more than 60,000 comments from nearly two million visitors.

It’s become a go-to destination in Australia to celebrate and debate about sport, both in the amateur and professional worlds. The Roar is also a pioneer in the user-generated video model through its grassroots sports platform, Club Roar.

Brothers Zac and Zolton Zavos founded The Roar in late 2007.
