It’s a good thing – if it was West coast, north and Richmond in our next 3, we might win and JLo would stay longer… I hope we get smashed, the sooner he’s out, the sooner a new coach can come in and teach a new gameplan.

JLo deserves credit for what? Giving the bare minimum of effort required at AFL level?
You or I can ask for effort, you or I can tell a team to turn up and be ferocious, you don’t need to be a highly paid senior coach to tell a team to get stuck in and “try hard.”
The reason JLo is paid very good money to coach the side is to develop a gameplan that works at AFL level, and to counter opposition. It’s to develop a system – the system is broken. The players either don’t understand the gameplan or they simply don’t like it – either way that is a huge failure on the coach.
To have 30 more inside 50s is in some ways more damning on JLo than last week. Last week can be put on the players simply not showing up and not putting in the effort required – this week it’s a system malfunction that’s endemic of Longmuirs glacial gameplan.
It’s broken mate – and until he goes it won’t be fixed. I’d almost rather be West Coast, who simply don’t have the cattle yet, instead of being this team that have the cattle but no capable leader.

The forwards coach is a defender, Jaymie Graham. Another major issue… how can your forwards coach be someone that barely kicked a goal in his entire career?

If you put that sort of messaging out there, you have to deliver on it, or else the fans aren’t going to be happy.
Someone needs to be held accountable and right now that’s Longmuir.

It’s 6.10 in Perth which is too early for a start.. as peak hour traffic is an issue.

The list is good enough to play finals though, maybe not to win a flag, but Longmuir won’t even get them in the top 8.

It’s good for the players to know their efforts are unacceptable. Members pay their money to the club, if the performance isn’t up to scratch, they should be informed as such… as long as it’s not attacks of a personal nature, booing is a relatively minor way to show disappointment in the team.
Don’t worry, the not turning up and not renewing memberships will be next if this continues.

I’d prefer Longmire, Simpson or Bucks over Woosha, but it has to be an experienced coach, not a first timer.

The gameplan is the issue not the list. That’s so obvious now. When the shackles are released this side can play good footy. Longmuir is holding them back.

No, the fans are right to boo. This is Longmuirs 6th year, with a good list, and has them playing like chumps with this glacial gameplan.
The fans making their opinions heard is good for the club, instead of being happy clappers pretending everything is ok.
It’s 31 years with no premierships, Freo fans are right to be angry with their team given the time and money that long suffering fans have invested.
The fans should be ashamed of the players and the coach, rather than the other way around.. there is a lot of anger from sections of this fanbase, and it’s going to bubble over if the club doesn’t make a change.
Boo more I say, until the club grows a backbone.

Yeah, I’m obviously furious at my team, but I’ll pay credit to the Pies. Just a professional outfit, I never really felt we were any real chance of winning the game.. you just knew the Pies would find a goal when it mattered.

I became a member aged 4… dad signed up as a foundation member and as soon as I was old enough he started taking me… that means I’ve been a member for 23 years.
Never have I felt more disappointed in the Dockers than this season.

Cornes is right – trade Darcy (dunno who would take him currently) and keep Jackson as the main man.

Agree to a certain extent, but there has been years, particularly under Ross and maybe Connolly where the club has been a far more solid and dependable unit.

Brisbane lions came partly from Fitzroy though, and was a merger, not a relocation, the Brisbane Bears are also part of that equation.
This has zero WA aspects to it – it’s a full blown Sydney team coming across, the better comparison is the Sydney Swans, and NSW is significantly less parochial than WA.

I think you’re confused.. I’m supportive of an NRL team in Perth… I just don’t want a relocated Sydney team.
