the blokes on the couch sat there silently …but it must have crossed their minds. Just imagine if Jack had said yeah good idea like for example….show the Brunns footage.
AFL News: Nash learns fate for Miers strike as Lethal calls for red cards, Scott defends Smith's antics, Bomber's headbutt ban
next week we will use the 9 day break as the excuse 😁 had too many days rest
Footy Fix: The Crows are freewheeling, frenetic and insanely fun - and that makes them vulnerable
yep …even at 30 points up I could see the writing on the wall because Cats still managed to score 50 points in a half playing like crap
Footy Fix: The Crows are freewheeling, frenetic and insanely fun - and that makes them vulnerable
both …Scott a far superior coach and we lack at least one key defender and a pacy distributor off half back (yes Milera could be that if he stays fit). Wanganeen-Milera is a must chase for this team. The other glaring weakness is at centre bounces I think ROB is done. Stanley is a hardly an elite ruck man and he destroyed him. Another obvious chase for the recruiting team is Draper
Footy Fix: The Crows are freewheeling, frenetic and insanely fun - and that makes them vulnerable
they let them in in the first half …they should have had a match winning lead at half time not 12 points. Even when winning Adelaide has a bad habit of allowing multiple red time goals with sloppy defence.
Footy Fix: The Crows are freewheeling, frenetic and insanely fun - and that makes them vulnerable
agree on ROB…he’s becoming a liability. Draper would be a good replacement if they can get him. Hinge had. stinker but overall he’s been great and is one of the best quicks in the team. We need more dash off half back so I think Lairds days might be numbered. The other glaring weakness for me is key defence. Im not sold on Keane I have heart palpitations when he has the ball in hand almost as bad as Butts who cant get a game. We really need Murray back and I would pay overs to get Wanganeen-Milera if possible he’s a perfect fit.

let’s see what happens if we lose the toss on a similar pitch
Flem’s Verdict: How Galle shellacking gives Aussies a blueprint for success in subcontinent
Let’s hope the poms pick Bairstow. If nothing else it will make for some good theatre. He will certainly receive a warm welcome.
Quiet achiever Carey starting to enter rare air of Australia’s all-time wicketkeeping greats
Ok so in a democracy everyone can have a political opinion and voice it freely …oh but not athletes they have to zip their lips? Politics concerns and affects us all like it or not. I never understood this claim that famous personalities have to keep their opinions private.
How 'woke Pat' overcame 'Aussie exceptionalism' to keep calm and carry on winning as one of our greatest leaders
Ginni should have learned from Josh Rachelle ….firing up an already under pressure Port is bound to leave egg on your cheeky face. Kenny should learn to be gracious and humble in victory. Unfortunately this is going to be the story of the week
COMMENT: Hinkley made himself look silly with Ginnivan spray - but smart alec Hawks got what was coming to them
yep and the extension of Nick’s contract more or less confirms this attitude. You cant know you have an easy draw based on previous years rankings. They would have pencilled in 2 wins against the Hawks for example
The Crows have slipped out of control: How Adelaide managed to take a major leap backwards in 2024
Assuming he gets his body right I like the sound of Milera, Rankine, Soligo and Crouch in the middle became less one paced and at least 2 of them is a decent kick
The Crows have slipped out of control: How Adelaide managed to take a major leap backwards in 2024
Extending Nicks contract at the start of the season was ridiculous. Ir was almost as if to say well we are making finals this year, its a given after the near miss in 2023. As you say Injuries were far less severe than some other clubs but specific injuries to Tilthorpe and Milera probably exposed a serious lack of depth. I think Laird needs to go back to half back and a fit Milera should be in the middle. He has pace evasive skills and a much better kick and mark than Laird. We are still paying the price for terrible selections at the draft including Jones and Mchenry not to mention McCasey. The fact that someone like Murphy who tries hard but lacks basic skills gets a game every week is damning. There has never been a thorough top to bottom review of substance since the debacle of 2017. It still smells like a boys club where an occasional sacrificial lamb covers the need for a clean out of the board and recruiting department.

take a look at that contest he backed out of after being under scrutiny for the same thing earlier this year. I hope thats the real reason made worse by having mouthed off
AFL News: Crows set to make brutal Rachele call as star slammed for joining pile-on, Pickett calls it quits
you say if he kicked 4 goals no one would have anything to talk about
I disagree. The main issue is backing out of contests, and becoming a worrying habit.
I wouldn’t give a stuff about his big mouth if he went harder at the contest which should be the main reason he is dropped
AFL News: Crows set to make brutal Rachele call as star slammed for joining pile-on, Pickett calls it quits
agree 100%. Fact is he shirked a contest again last night, He’s far from being hard enough and thats even more reason to keep his mouth shut.
'Very, very fair footballer': Houston Tribunal bound as massive ban looms despite Hinkley's defence
the jinx works again
For the first time in his reign, Luke Beveridge has the Bulldogs playing like the best team in the league
the above if correct also highlights numerous errors made by the crows who seems headed for another honourable loss after blowing a 36 point lead. A good win but endless handballs missing targets, broken tackles and howlers in defence
Footy Fix: The Dons just played the dumbest last five minutes of 2024 - and shot their finals dream in the foot
thats assuming g the lack of success is due to poor coaching. In Adelaides case its hard to tell because they have mucked up just about every draft pick they have had. For the past few yers actual picks v the talent that was on offer reads like an absolute nightmare
Six Points: Pull your heads in, Port fans, and the Power gun who's becoming a 'cheap shot merchant'
It now appears that Ports Strategy to do a “Geelong” has failed …keep topping up with trades to stay in the window. Some weeks it can be up to half the side playing not from the draft but traded…JHF, Rioli, Dixon, Allir, Zirk Thacher, Esava, Burton, Finlayson, Lord …not sure if any other side has as many. Maybe they will turn it around but not looking good at this stage
Footy Fix: The massive, glaring Port weaknesses the Lions ruthlessly and repeatedly exposed
easy fix
they have too may blondes with headbands
go back to a team full of redheads that should do the job
Cameron's on a wing and Hawkins is cooked: so how can Chris Scott fix Cats' attacking woes?
its certainly the main issue in my book
last year they played above expectations and had less injuries . Now with a few wounded the gapping holes are there to see
we just dont have the list
I think if people realised how high draft picks have been duds such as McHenry Jones ,Pedlar were and several others delisted or moved on before them, the focus would be squarely on the recruiting department not the coach
Footy Fix: The Crows are an utter shambles - and one horror stat shows just how far they've fallen
I agree…drafting and list management are a bigger issue
Footy Fix: The Crows are an utter shambles - and one horror stat shows just how far they've fallen
for me it was the least disappointing error of the night….the ones that cut deep were the countless skill errors
we have gone backwards
'Very challenging one': AFL back ump's 'correct approach' in last-gasp non-HTB controversy... but admit free was there
ask them to help get the Pies over the line…we play them next week and I cant see them losing 3 in a row….and the usual heartbreaking 1 point loss is getting boring
